Default Anyone re-upholster their seats themselves? If so, do you have pictures?

My 1998 leather seats are completely trashed. They were that way when I bought it and I was thinking about buying a new set of cloth seats for it. I don't really care for leather seats, too high maintenance and I don't like sticking to them in the summer when I cruise with the tops off.

But I haven't had much luck finding a black or dark gray cloth interior so I was considering buying a material I like and doing it myself.

Has anyone else done this? Am I crazy and in way over my head? Should I just stick to trying to buy some?

I'd like to see some pictures of your custom upholstered seats if you've got any.

My wife did mine back when we were dateing. Unfortunatly I chose some inferior material and now it's wrinkled and ripped and needs to be redone. It was a lot of work and I wouldn't do it again if I had the choice.

If you want cloth, it will not cost that much to get it done in a interior shop. . . .

I priced it before, you should be able to get all the seats redone for less than 500 Bucks(still kind of a lot).
