They plug in. Actually, they fit really well the main complaint is that theyre cheap material and for over $1000 it should be a projector and HID set up but instead you get cheap plastic and foglights meant for on road use and crappy h4 lights. If they were like $250 theyd be a good deal. I have a thread in the firbird section withsome pics
