thanks for the reply. Im not worried about the signal lights because ill keep mine stock. As long as the headlights themselves dont leak, im fine.

It comes down to these two:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-02...Q5fAccessories

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-02...3A1|240%3A1318

Im guessing ill get better performance and reliability from the first set?

That first option should give better output than the second option. The ad doesn't say which bulbs it uses. You can either check with the seller or take a look at the first link I provided in post #13. They are identical looking ones, but the ad specifically says 9005/9006 bulbs. I'd still recommend confirming that with them though. Either way, I'd recommend getting a set that uses 9005/9006 bulbs or H1 bulbs instead of H3.

EDIT: I just noticed that the one I posted in #13 comes with the side markers which you said you didn't want... so nevermind. Just check with the seller of the ones you found to see what bulbs it uses.

I think they both come with bulbs. I think im leaning towards the first option now; the actual projectors. Some guy on these forums made a post about the same headlights though and how there is a huge gap between the bumper and light itself. I need to do research and make sure the manufacturer doesnt suck

Those in the first link have H3 bulbs for sure. Those are the same ones I bought originally before switching to the H1 projectors I have now.

Oh, OK. In that case, a correction to my post #22 above: neither of those two options is great (from ding chavez's post #21), but there are alternatives (some of which I have posted earlier).

Got these badboys today from a site called revotec for $150. Dont really care about performance, because i think these look sexxy and make my car look more contemporary. Heres a pic

ONE QUESTION THOUGH: how do I wire up the halo's? everything else works fine, but the halos come with wires that dont have adapters. If anyone knows what i wire these suckers into please let me know.

You gotta hard wire them to something. Put them on a switch or running lights or something like that.

i just installed mine, which were the first option you had. they came with 9005/6 bulbs and have an incredible HID look. the fitment isn't great at all and the brackets don't fit, had to use the stock brackets. the halos on mine are spliced with the fog lights.

the lights with the halo in the center do fit very well. I think they look alittle better for our car than the double halo projector business.I choose my headlights based on looks, and don't care too much about extra superman night vision.

You mean the projectors? I'm glad they're using 9005/9006 bulbs now instead of H3 & H1. Maybe they'll continue to improve and we'll see some H7 & H9 versions. Do you have any output shots?

here's some pics i just snapped. still working on aiming them, i'm not the best at it. all the pics are less than 10ft away.

this is aiming at my garage, which is uphill from the driveway.

tried getting the best shots of the front. kinda hard since they are so bright, but they are exactly what i was looking for.

Is that the 9006 projector? Hopefully its just an aiming issue, but as of right now, that cut-off looks wrong. Double check that the bulbs are firmly seated. Can you try again at 25ft when you've aimed them better?

They should look somewhat like this:

That's the H1 version btw. Ignore the fuzzy blurb of light over the cut-off, that shouldn't be there.

okay so basically i just need to lower the cutoff. i still have to work on the horizontal alignment, but i gotta take care of that gap first.

Can you take a pic of the bulb that the projector uses? That would help in telling us whether these are 9006's or still the H3's.
