That looks like a pain in the ***! I've polished have of mine so far, and a lot of the engine but I usually do 3/4 different stages of grit and then polish it up, comes out awesome. I now did that to a bunch of stuff in the engine bay as well

I agree with everyone else, you're crazy haha! I guess I would do it too if the rest of my car was clean. I have a hard enough time keeping the paint shiny!

Garage queen eh? Dude your nuts! I don't even want to know how much money you have into that! I'm guessing there aren't many performance mods? Do you ever race it?

Mine still needs some more work. I have yet to hit it with the buffing wheel.

Still a huge improvement:

I just sprayed mine with some duplicolor high temp ceramic glossy paint. It's been holding up well for over 2 years.

The first sandpaper step is a waste of time imo, you're not exactly starting with stucco, 100 grit is working backwards for no reason. Next time jump right to 320 or even 400.

97ramsst, pics when you do, I love your car!...

98silvertacrbn, thanks, went to Lowes first and saw that, but I didn't get it, so I'll take your advice and try it out with the Simichrome...

98 WS6, it is!...

02gtp4now, thanks...

Spd-Kilz, wow!, looks a 1000 times better, keep it up!...

Marc3.4V6, thanks, I just follwed the steps in the thread I posted, but IF there is a "next" time (which I don't think there will ever be..LOL), I'll take your advice....anything to make it less work is better...

TORCHD 02 TA, you couldn't pay me enough my friend!..LOL..
