Default my Z got a face lift

i installed my black turns and halo headlights. the headlights were a little more of an issue than i thought. i have done LOTS of searches and read up enought to know in advance what i was getting into and how to do the wiring. but it seemed that my set was a little different than what i've seen from others. i had to of course use the stock brackets with the new headlights and there is still a 1/4" size gap on the passenger side. i guess i need to put washers in to shim it out and run some silicone to help that much more. i still need to align/aim the beams also. to wire the halos i had to use the blk/red wire pair from the light and splice them with blk/purple from the fogs. the turn signals were easy, but the sockets didn't match up with the housing 100%, i had to take off the rubber gasket on the parking light/turn light on both sides for them to lock in place. anyways, here's the pics!

yea i'm in need of a new one. the part you can see could be sanded down and repainted but in the corner by the turn signal it's broken. happened the last time we had snow/ice in dallas.

Same ones I have, the rubber trim will soon become brittle and fall off...

I can't lose the plate, the cops in my area are overly strict on that law. I can't even put it behind a billet grille, sucks.

What's the best way to aim them? My driveway is uphill so using the garage might not work.
