I like the LOTB badges, is that a dragonZ28 badge? If so which ones are they?

Also you have been spending some $$$$

Thank you! I picked them up from Powerstop's Group Purchase. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They look great, and I've had no problems with them.

Jonas, the badges are not from DragonZ28. I picked these up before I knew he was going to offer them. PM me if you'd like a link. They are quality badges though.

Most of the stuff I bought over the winter and have just gotten around to installing it now, or was virtually free (DRL's, paint etc).

I'll post night pictures in my next post.

Here they are at night.

Just for the record, I still need to get red LED's, along with red needles.

This is how it will look with the stock lighting.

It is easy. going off the top of my head

Remove the kick panel (i think it is 2 phillips screws and 2 7mm or 8mm bolts)
Tilt the wheel all the way down
remove tilter by unscrewing it
remove bezel (pops out) do not pull it all the way out
find the wiring harness for the fog light switch and dis connect it
now remove the (4) 7mm or 8mm bolts on the corners of the bezel
tilt bezel so that it is at an angle to get out. It will be tricky
Next unplug the 2 wirng harness in the back of the gauge pod
once in your hands, unclip the plastic lense from the bezel

Now you have access to your needles

you should have swapped the lights when you had the bezel apart. Now you have to do it all over again

Thanks! Very simple. Follow the steps TORCHD laid out for you, along with taking off the needles, removing the old GM overlay, putting on the new one, and putting it all back together.

I took off the lenses covers, sanded the inside then painted it with chrome paint. To finish it all off I cut out the new lenses from a sheet of lexan, and then siliconed them in. I'll post some pictures.

Yes. Wet sand after the last color coat. I didn't wet sand the clear coat.

I had to take out my whole gauge cluster the other night and take off the original gauge overlay so that I could remove my Service Engine Soon light, since I had an Emission Test the next day. I figured that I might as well install the new gauges while I was at it. I still don't know what LED's to get yet. Really though, it's not all too difficult to do.

Here you can see that one is still "factory", and the other one was sanded, then painted with chrome paint.

Did you have to replace your stock metric guages for those overlays to work?

The car is American so it came with MPH and the small km/h. I don't mind converting in my head (regardless of it being illegal).

The gauges are offered in Kmh if you'd prefer it.

I hope that answered your question.

I take it the factory overlays just cover a large light source and that is how you guys have lighted logos? That is freakin sweet!
