Question Seat Back Map Pockets

I saw some pictures of the 2002 Collectors Edition Trans Am, and saw what looked like fishnet map pockets on the seat backs. Was this optional equiptment, or was it only available with the collectors edition T/A? Would these map pockets be available seperatley, and if so does anyone have the part #?

It was a WS-6 TA option only.

Yup, I have them on my 2000. They had that stlye seat since 87 on the GTA seats. My 91 had them too. They look good as long as you don't put stuff in them then they stretch.

Are those plastic seat backs removable?
I just put T/A seats in my Camaro, and one of the seat backs is a little scratched up, so I'd like to just take them off if I can.

The back panels are removable - but the back of the seat is un-finished.

I have a set of fairly new Ebony seat backs for TA available . . .

Oops - my bad - thought only the adjustable lumbar seats had them, thanks for the correction.

Wrong!

Only 98-02 TA's with the articulating seat option got this. The others received plain vinyl backing instead of the hard plastic with nets.

I just replaced mine. The seat backs are easy to replace and only cost about $30 from the dealer. The bad news is some years are on national review. Which means they have quit making them and when the supply is gone there will be no more. I had to get backs from different years but they match up pretty well.

How much would you part with them for?

Hmm, maybe I'll just go to the dealer.
Do you know any part numbers?
