Don't do flat black Joser, go with Satin Black. You can get it at Wal-Mart.
I have the rear panel on my Black Z28 done in Satin Black I would post a pic but I'm lazy to take a pic and upload it

I would suggest satin...
Flat looks like primer, and it way too much contrast...
I actually used Krylon Semi-Flat on mine... its a good mix between the satin and flat... Its a deep rich flat black, without the ashy look...

On mine I sanded, one coat flat black, sanded, another coat, sanded, primer sealer, coat flat black, sanded, changed to semi gloss, sanded one last time and a final semi gloss. The panel had some blemishes and some bad spots. It was red, from the previous owner.
