removing buffing compound from cracks

What do you guys use to remove the buffing compound out from all the small cracks, such as the cracks in between the bumper and fender and especially the compound that has made its way into the extremely small spaces around my "Trans Am" lettering on the doors? toothbrush possibly? i feel like that would scratch my paint and lead me to more buffing...this **** is a pain in the *** to get out!

A thorough wash, compressed air, quick detailer and microfiber, soft horse/boars-hair brush, etc.

go to the auto section at wal mart (or a checker/autozone etc). they have a lot of detail type brushes. look for one that has a rubber tip on one end of it. For the emblem, just spray it with detail spray and remove with rubber tip. You can use a soft paint brush for the cracks. Hope this helps

Yup, you can look for one of those small detail brushes. That'll help around cracks and the license plate cover.

Tooth brush would work... but yea, they make them just for detailing.

i spray quick detailer and it usually comes off with a microfiber after. i know what you're talking about though, that stuff sucks

thanks for your help guys. got a brush from walmart and already had a microfiber towel. somewhat tedious but they worked great! thanks again

spray some sort of cleaner/degreaser on the area and hit it with the hose.. well.. not literally "hit" it with the hose.. but spray it.. lol my bad

Thats not necessary.

and i dont think i wanna spray any degreaser on my freashly waxxed car.

qtips and for smaller areas like your parking lights I use a very small flat blade screwdriver inside of a microfiber cloth.
