Default Remove Rear Tint

I've seen a ton of people asking how to remove the tint from their back glass without damaging defroster lines and just happened across this link http://www.v8rx7forum.com/v8-rx7-non...tml#post441666 Hope it helps.

That's some good info. Formula 409 works good to get the glue off. The whole process just takes forever.

Yea but it's either that or pay somebody by the hour to do something that that takes forever when you can do it yourself.

Its definitely way better than paying a tint shop. The one I used to work at charged out the *** for stripping rear hatches

Some good info. IMO, I would think the best idea there is heating it up. I have a big heat light so that would probably work. Another idea that sounded good was the carpet adhesive remover, the guy said it "Turned it to liquid." But Idk if that works.

How much have you guys paid for rear hatch tint? Mine turned blue/purple
