but does any one know who makes covers for the gap between the headlight and core support and the gap between the air lid and front bumper on a 01 camaro Z28? i think when those empty spots are covered it looks so much cleaner.

I'd have to agree. I don't really like the covers. They just look cheesy in most cases. I do like a couple though. The etched fuse box covers are nice, and some of the battery covers are as well, but I'm not much for large amounts of stainless or chrome. I say just hide everything. TCS, battery, fuse boxes, etc. I've even been considering relocating the PCM elsewhere...
