Anyone no how to remove the restricted......
The fog lamps on the trans am have a plastic piece that goes over the buld like a umbrela.. has any one takin it out? they would be some what brighter and point not so much straight at the ground and a bit more forward.

If you put the oil from your fingers on those bulbs they are gauranteed to go out within 20-30 hours of use.

Sorry guys.. i guess i didn't explain it clear enough.. i don't mean taking the lens out.. i meant if u look in the lights u can see above the bulb are a director kinda thing.. makes the light point at the ground.. is there a way to take it out? if u got a TA just look at the fog lamps and above the bulb is a peaice of chrome plastic about .5" above the bulb.. just wondering if i comes out.. so u can see more infront rather then straight at the ground.? o ya and i have touched my bulbs <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> does this mean its gona go soon? i touched it about a month ago.. o well i wana get some white or blue ones n e how.. does n e one no the max watts u can run on the lens without melting em?

Yeah the oil on your fingers is very bad for halogens. And to answer your question, you COULD probably take that piece out, it's just that it would defeat the purpose of fog lights. They are supposed to be pointed towards the ground rather than straight forward.
