My 1994 Fire-Am
Well ive been pondering this year idea for a long time with my formula since i really never liked the back of them from the get go. Over the past winter i parted out a 95 t/a that was to my advantage the same color as mine polo green. From that parts car i managed to be able to salvage the back bumper and highrise hatch as the car was more-less damaged in the front portion. The hatch was is pretty good shape besides a small nick on the side unless your looking for it then its not that noticable and didnt need to be painted which saved a couple bucks. The bumper on the other hand was all scraped up along the bottom as the car went into the ditch and spun around. While i got the rear bumper painted i had my guy do the ceta mod in black which came out perfect! I decided while the bumper was in getting painted to get my hood redone as when i got it from another car it had a large number of stress cracks and it REALLY bugged the crap out of and it 15 to be exact when it was all done. Paint came out awesome and i finally got my idea into real life since i havent seen a formy with both the highrise and the bumper its usually one or the other. Hope you enjoy the pics and btw shes got 215,000 miles on her so be nice

Bringin back the "fire-am" name from the late 70's where a company made there own customized firebird or trans am and came with special decal kits to go with them. Regardless its a firebird front and trans am back so fire-am kinda suited it best to me. May sound weird but its different and thats what i was going after rather then seeing a plain old t/a or formy its a bit of both to my taste buds.

Looks really good. I like it! Nice to see a lovingly kept bird with that kind of mileage. I'm not too far behind you, It's a lotta fun putting miles on these cars (LT1).
So... T/A rear bumper, hatch, ram-air hood, M6 swap, any urge to do front bumper or side skirts?

Yup there's not much original left of this car ive done a complete interior swap from light grey cloth to graphite leather this year and trans back is all upgraded. I got it off the original owner January last year at 200k which was an older lady and since then ive put my fair share of fun miles on it. Runs like a champ and has lots of life left in her till i get to changing it up down the road. Trust me the itch is there to put the skirts and bumper on but if i do that will come next year when i get the whole thing painted but still undecided.

I just like the look of being different people second guessing and asking if its either or. Paint is in really good shape for the miles and i have done alot of claybarring and waxing to get it to where it is now which is pretty darn good. Front bumper is faded and all nicked up to hell so i want that done and i got a bit of rust on the passenger rear wheel well and under the rear of the doors is just starting. Id love to go a medium blue or daytona blue but the work to do a color change will be a right PITA so it will likely still stay green.
