Default race seats

these are my narrowed down options due to price. i'm on a serious budget but also need a replacement due to my drivers side seat splitting at the seam. i don't want to get a cover because 1) they never fit like they should, 2) hard to keep them on, 3) to get a decent quality i'd still drop at least $100.

each picture/price includes both d/p seats and have slider brackets also. none of these are specifically for an fbody but are universal with the correct measurements.

i personally like the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th options. i am not too concerned with the comfort factor, i can make due no problem. but to me style is a factor.
$210/set

$350/set

$150/set (private sell)

$250/set

$260/set

That is correct, I wanted all black but the guy said it would be almost 2 months. I can't wait that long. Looks like I'm gonna go with either the 3rd or 4th option. The recaro style is a bit too rich for me right now.

Who makes the fourth set? (Maker and model)
Those look sick, snug, and pretty comfortable.

In all honesty I believe it's APC. There's just no logo on them. There's 3 or 4 styles, the one pic'd (Vinyl/velour), all CF, vinyl/CF, and cloth/vinyl.

So called "universal" seats are unlikely to fit, unless you're in the mood to fabricate brackets. They typically have flat sliders are presume that the floor of your car is flat. It's not. The F-body has a significant drop at the rear of the set mounting area and the brackets must account for this. I just went through this in replacing my own fronts.
I ended up buying a set of Scat/Procars with custom brackets from Summit. Like yours, they have universal sliders that attach to the seats. The brackets then attach to the sliders and the floor and make it all work. Cost just under $500. Took about 20 minutes to install.

Well why can't I buy the seats and buy the bracket separate? I was gonna get the procars from jegs but i really don't want writing/emblems on my seats.

You might be able to, if the seats and brackets happen to have the same mounting placement.
The Scat/Procars have a bracket that mounts to the floor. The sliders have L brackets on the ends. The sliders bolt to the brackets with bolts going front to back, not up and down. Your "universal" sliders are, I am guessing, designed to bolt straight down through a flat floorpan. In this case I just suspect that universal means make your own brackets.

I can get you the sellers contact info, PM me if you want it. The yellow comes from the harnesses that come with each seat.

The guy sold the seats yesterday, oh well. I don't dig embroidery on the headrest unless it's simple (recaro, sparco, or Z28) which leads me to this..... I plan on getting Z28 stitched in the headrest in the same style as my outer emblems (see pic), how muchight something like that run me?

as far as style, they all look exactly the same, other then the shape of the harness holes. the recaros look exactly like my arizen, which i also have embroidered. for the money, id get the 3rd or 4th set.

as far as cost of embroidery, it all depens on where you go, who does it. does the company you buy the seats from offer it? is anyone local to you that can do it? will you have to ship the seats to someone else? it can be anywhere from 100-300, depending on the options.

for some reason i dont have any good pics of my seat, but here are 2 left over from the calender shoot and my harness bar pics.
