Personally I'd go with a new set of wheels before I got a hood.

As far as the hood, even though I like to see things that are a bit original, I really think you can't beat the look of the SS hood. IMO the SS hood just makes those cars look so complete.

Im sticking with the stock GM wheels. I like paying $60 a tire.

I'd leave it the way it is then. IMO any other type of hood with stock 16's just looks unbalanced.

And then I'd lose the GS stripes, and you'd have something of a sleeper.

Just my .02.

And you can get tires for 17's that aren't that expensive. Extra price is worth the look anyday.

SS hood and the wheels must go. If you don't have wheels to go with the SS hood, the ones you have now are going to look even smaller.

I don't see how the hood will make the wheels look bad. I vote for the SS hood though.

By the way, I'll have 16" Cragars on my LT1 with an SS hood.

SS hood and find some chrome 17 inch 10 spokes or zr1s if you must have factory wheels. IMO 16s look cheap and too damn small, its definetly worth the money for tires to upgrade.

P.S. If new wheels are out of the question, paint those 5 stars black! Blacked out looks great on black cars
