Default My new underhood bling is getting closer!

Had a pretty good night yesterday under the hood and dash.

Tick MC is 90% installed the hard part was getting the big bugger behind the brake booster and aligning it alone.

I think I finally have a filtered air configuration I am happy with. I tried 4 different approaches so far.

This one seems to line up. The picture show one half and will be mirrored and I'll have to weld up a 4" y pipe to come out of the air lid. I think it might look pretty good too.

Did a little more shadetree fabricating in the garage tonight!
This gives you a real idea of how it will look.

Setting up the new light weight battery so it looks engineered and slapped together. It alone has 7 hours in it to do a pattern, make the aluminum mounting plate, polish it, find the distribution blocks, modify the termination, fit 1/0 gauge wire (which was a bitch) and get it all mounted solidly for the track inspections.

I love it when a plan comes together after nearly 2 years

It is a BCool cap and rad, which you can buy at Jegs or Summit. BTW you can not get in the black as shown. I did that with a ceramic pen from Micheals Crafts Store and baked it on.

Yes it is a Harrop 55mm Hurricane intake.

Hopefully it will be running soon.
