Default Nice little Mod (pics)

Did this little mod this afternoon.
Not sure if it will really add H.Ps but it looks good!!!!!

Does anyone know if its ok to spin the MAF so the Thunder racing Logos on top?

The ported maf only goes together one way, co no its not ok to spin the logo to the top.

A ported mass air just like that one was worth near 10 rwhp on my stock internal 2000 z28.
Most 2000's pick up about that much.
But, the same cannot be said for 99's.
What year model car do you have?

I have an 01, I don't mean spin it in the housing.
I mean spin the whole MAF but that would put the wiring plug at the bottom instead of on the side.

the cars CPU have to be reset...I mean the
car recalibrated because of the increase in
air flow?

Typically the CPU will 'learn' a new mod within 100 miles of the mod being installed. Resetting really isn't nessary since the CPU would have to learn the entire engine over instead of the one or two mods that people usually install at one time. About the only reason to reset the CPU is to clear a trouble code.

Thanx Poltergeist, thats what a thought. You get alot of conflicting opinions here.
