diamond plate

i have an idea to line my truck with aluminium diamond plate
2 things
would it seem cheesy?
have you seen this before?

Truck or TruNK???

Diamond plate has no business on an fbody.. now on a truck it looks good..

Diamond Plate = TRUCK

Yea dont put diamond plating on your F-Bod, that would be enough to make me cry.

Why? Does it look ricer? I've got the front floor and passenger floor done in Aluminum Diamond Plate. Got nothing but oohs and aahs from other f-body guys down here. Or maybe they're talking stink behind my back???

Diamond plate is too harsh for a car.. especially a sports car. Would it seem like a good idea in a vette? viper? then probley not a fbody. On a Jeep or truck it can look very nice but those type of vehicals lend themselves to "armor plating"..

If you car is a daily car and you live in a less than perfec weather area then I can see diamond plate as prctical for mats.. but i still think it would clash horibly with the organic free flowing curves of the car. Its NOT a rice thing, its an "out of place" thing.. Just my .02
