just installed new ProCar seats. but sits to high :(
as the title says i just installed two new ProCar by scat seats and everything is great, except that they sit a little to high for my taste. does anybody know of a way to get aftermarket seats to sit lower?

For my Corbeaus I cut off the elavated rear pedastals and welded in some new tabs and drilled new holes to match the stock studs. This lowered the rear of the seat about a inch on the drivers side. BTW getting to the mounting bolts is now a bitch, but doable.
I still have not sorted out the passenger side though, since it has the cat hump to deal with and will not be as simple. I will only let 5'7" and shorter hotties ride along or a tall girl with the Tees out!

The Scat/Procar seat brackets are L shaped and there are three slots of various heights that may be used to mount them. I'm betting that, like mine, the bracket came in contact with the floor and you had to mount them in the highest position. Just take them off, grab your angle grinder, and shorten the tabs so you can use the lower mounting position. It will take about 10 minutes.
