Default Fuel Rail Cover designs???

Please post pictures of your fuel rail cover designs or designs you've seen. I just got mine in the mail and I'm going to work on them this winter while I've got some time. I've got an airbrush and will probably come up with my own design I just wanted to see what else was out there.

Thanks,

Nice in red but too many logos. the SS on the FRC's was enough. Silver flagged stripes are nice too.
I carbon fibered mine, reddish glow (Sorry no pics), looks good with other carbon trim and FIPK with NOS nozzles in front plate.

Buy stock ones 98's Black. Then you have to cut, fill "corvette" logo, sand, prime and paint, then add stickers

i kept my frcs simple, gloss black, with painted red "CAMARO" and red 5.7L stripes. i gotta re-wetsand and re-clearcoat them over my thanksgiving break though, since i got a little bit of orange peel the first time. overall, i think it came out ok.

travisnd's stripes that flow from the lid to the FRCs are sweet!

Steve's engine bay is by far the benchmark by which all engine bay's should be judged! I never get tired of seeing it!

There are some fuel rail covers for Aussie Holden LS-1s
that I haven't seen on this site, simple and embossed
"LS-1". I ran across them while trying to chase down
that funky engine cover from the tech manual picture.

http://www.emtechautomotive.com.au/c...re_vt_vx.html#

But they're down in Oz and dunno how ordering would be
(or if they'd fit an F-body, looks like the Commodore has
the engine more out-in-the-open).

I had some plates made at our local trophy shop.

I simply took them a diskette with the file I needed on my plaques, & they did the laser engraving on them for about $50.

Simple, inexpensive cover for the "Corvette" text.

I decided to do mine the hard way... fill the letters, sand it down, fill it again, sand some more, primer, sand some more... definately alot of work! They should look really good when they are done though. I'll post pictures after they are painted, clear coated and everything else...

How much are these from the Chevy dealer?

I've got a 2000. Are there differences for each year....and will one particular year from a vette fit better than another?

Will the LS6 covers fit?

What type of paint did you all use?
