My buddy jsut bought a 2009 Shelby GT 500.. Has < 100 miles on it. Very nice ride. He traded in his '01 Bullitt in for this car. I do not like the body style of the '05+ cars... I think this body style will need to grow on me..

the thing is still new.. He does not want to mod this one other than mid pipe and cat back... Bis bullitt was nice.. We built that up pretty good..

Yea it is about time Adam.. I have driven the car this year about 1000 miles.. Most it was drving back and fourth to the track 4 times..

Yeah I am about at my limit i usually driuve about 1,500 miles or so..

I pulled a 12.30 @ 115 with a crappy 1.9 60'.. I am afraid to launch the car and sending the rear to the moon.. I did this on 17" stree tires too...

In the fall i am thinking of putting on my stock 16s and getting some new rubber and see if i can get a little bit better time with the 16s. Less rotational mass.. Who knows.. We will see.. Plus i took some weight out of my car too

your car is one of my favorite red ws6's on ls1tech, yeah that gt 500 has to grow on my im just not a fan of the white with blue stripes now if it was black with grey that would look way better imo

My buddy has a 08 Shelby GT500 with a TVS blower, full exhaust and many other mods. He made 663rwhp, I will post a video of him racing my other buddy with a procharged ls2 c6 vette that dynoed 515rwhp from a dig. I flagged them off who do you think won?

I would prolly say the vette. With the GT500 having that much HP, if he does not have a tire to plant the power to the ground he is toast...

looking great jonas. if ur going back to 16s, try the M/T 295/50/16. It'll fit the 8 inch rim. its a 28 inch tire, so put a rear end in that thing already

Yeah Robbie he wont mod it. His '01 Bullitt, well we modded that one good. He jsut wants a nice exhaust and a shifter and call it a day..
