Or am I going to be the only one? I just layed down the fourth and most likely final coat of paint as long as it looks nice, clear, and smooth. They are drying right now and I'm going to do the clear coat later on, probably two or three really light coats. I haven't seen black painted interior piece pictures so I'm thinking I may be the only one and I seem to remember someone wanting to see pics. I'll snap some off tomorrow and get them up as soon as I can (gotta get 'em developed), but I'll probably wait until I get my silver faced gauges in too and then take alot of pics and put them up. I had bright red before for contrast with the factory charcoal grey but it got tiring and would have looked tacky with my silver faced gauges IMO. So instead of buying some stock pieces I decided to give gloss black a try before going back to stock. It'll compliment more than contrast and the difference will be much more subtle, and I think it's going to look awesome. I'll get pics as soon as I can of the black pieces and silver faced gauges if anyone shows interest. Later.

I have been wanting to know this badly. I have been thinking about going to a semi-gloss black to have a subtle look over my ebony interior. I think it would look great, but I want to get an idea first.

I just saw it this last weekend at a show here in SoCal.. on a black SS..

He did a VERY good job on it.. nice and smooth like he had it sprayed.. it was subtle and yet it dressed up the interior quite a bit..

I would have been my second choice.. Ive also thought that a very dark metalic grey (almost black) would look very classy.. I need to find some extra interior parts to practice one <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I plan on doing my interior black also. I think it would look great...without saying "hey look at me!" Hopefully this weekend i'll get started on it..im soo lazy. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Or maybe just leaving what I have in red, and doing the piece around the shifter, and the window control pods black... hmmm...

INSSANE

Did a few parts in black, but am going back to stock...temporarily. I like the gloss black look.
