Those look like the ones people seem to be using and should work fine. The alternate is the WLED x5 which people also claim works just fine (you linked to the WLED xHP5). Theoretically the xHP5 that you are looking at should be a little brighter...keep in mind though that the blue color might not light up the red parts of the cluster as well as a white bulb would. The benefit of our camaro cluster is that there is a blue film over the letters so if you use a white led bulb, the numbers will still shine pretty blue (but not as deep of a blue as if you used a blue led bulb), and the red areas should stand out more.
Look at this thread for what the white bulbs would look like:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...k-cluster.html ,
...but yes the xHP5 you are asking about should work fine.

Bending the pins tighter was all I had to do. Just make sure you bend them from as close to the base as possible.

Hey guys, im new to this forum... but I have a '96 z28 and I recently ordered replacement LED bulbs. In my cars owner manual, and on superbrightleds.com there is a listing for a dome light using the bulb number 906. I ordered this, only to find out what I would call the dome light they refer to as a "trunk/cargo" area using the bulb number 562. Now that i have the 906 bulb for a "dome light", can anybody tell me where this is used?

On the 98+ they are in the rear view mirror. Should be the same on yours.

Just received an Amazon gift card and dont really need anything that will be covered by the card, then i thought about these bulbs.

Does anyone know if these LEDs specifically the ones that go in the guage cluster are available on there?

Yes I always resort to searching before asking, but it appears or from what i am seeing they either dont have them...kinda hard to think judging by what they do have.

or They are using a different naming system or something because they have tons of LEDs for automotive but not really seeing these ones...but again im not an expert on LED bulbs so idk. Would rather get them from Amazon if possible so i could just use this gift card that i dont have a use for.

when replacing the bulbs in the cluster with LED, should one get red/yellow ones, or white?

Most normally go with red, white or blue. I went with blue. For the signals I put blue ones not knowing so probably be best to go with a different color. Also get ones that are 360 degree for most covered.

I have a 2002 Trans Am but I assume the door bulbs are the same. If you're talking about the bulbs that light up the handle on the inside of the car, I replaced mine with #74 LEDs from SuperBright. The original bulbs didn't easily pull out so as I recall one broke and needed a little clean up but these fit perfectly.

I used the cheaper one that only had one LED at the end since that's the only thing that shows on my TA when it's in place.
