From the looks of everyone not having a clue what to get for LEDs, this mod is probably too hard for you.
Not sure how good the light output is on these.
NEVERMIND i found them, both of mine were burned out so I never knew they were there.
Now I have a new problem though, the driver side looks great, but the passenger side.. not so much. It is extremely dim, the light itslef is fine, but when I put it in the holder it puts hardly any light out of the small hole... Any suggestions??

#2.. You won't be able to see **** in an all blue interior....
......#2.5 its ricey
#3... You WILL get pulled over when you put bright blue lights anywhere that matters on the exterior vehicle (like the license plate light)
#4 .... http://www.modifiedlife.com/2002-che...lb-base-sizes/ your welcome
Whenever you get an LED bulb in whatever size you want, you will want to make sure it's an SMD LED. SMD's are usually brighter than regular LED bulbs.
For everyone else, regarding the trunk light.....
Disconnect the battery, take out the entire housing, cut away and or shave off all the metal using a dremmel and different type dremmel bits so its all smooth and retro fit one of these:

I have one in my lexus and I have to put on SPF50 because its that freakin bright. It actually comes with an adapter that will fit the current fitting but the actual light wont fit well if you leave the prongs in there. Just splice into the wires after the retro fit. Done. And your trunk will be bright as hell, trust me. I going to do this as soon as I get my car back. But I already looked and I know it can be done.

and yeah the passenger side is gonna be dimmer. Its like that on my camaro and on two others that have done this, and we all used the Hyper White color, the driver side great...passenger side, sux nutz.
