How did you paint your intake? Any sanding, primer, what kind of paint used? If you could just write a brief explanation. THanks.

I did it the easy way. I have a friend that has a paintshop. It is PPG paint that matches my paint code and clearcoated.

Edited do to fast fingers and slow mind.

I like it! I plan on painting mine when I get an ls6 one. I've got some chrome paint from home depot that pretty much is silver <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> , that I used on my lid. I need to do it again and clearcoat them though.
