Default Anyone had succes with a good Rubberized Undercoat Spray?

Could you guys recommend one? I already used the Dupli-color Rubberized Undercoat spray and was happy with it the first day. Later on the material hardened like Bondo! Plus, do you guys think it would be a good idea to use this, . . on the inside of the car too?

It is suppose to get harder. I always used whatever they have at Auto Zone or Advance.

yea, it's supposed to get hard in order to deflect debris and such that come in contact with it.

The duplicolor ones and others I have tried suck and don't get hard.

Marhyde is the brand you want, I never buy anything else.

I used the duplicolor one and had great results. Yes it does stink for about a week but really, compared to what you pay for dynamat and these cans, to ME it's worth it lol.

I sprayed it on the inside of the doorshells when I upgraded the front speakers, removed the carpet under the rear seat (due to it flooding and stinking up nasty, I HAD to cut it off), also at all 4 fenderwells, and on the underside of the floorpan (Im "surprised" the "brilliant engineers of the f-body" didnt think that it may be a good idea to use rubber undercoating here to reduce road noise!). All together it worked pretty well to me

Thanks, never heard of Marhyde - where can I get it?

I was thinking about using second skin for the interior but I really don't want to add weight to the car. I am going to use Frost King to minimize road noise and it's lightweight which is the best route for me.

Will it stink up my car temporarily or will it be there forever?
