Formula Dash?

Formula Dash? The dash cap in my 95 TA was smashed by a previous owner, and is missing half of the vent, and everything forward of that. I live on a damned island, that doesn't have a ton of access to wrecked cars, but finally heard about a written off 94 Formula at a wrecker up-island. So, I drive 3 hours out there just to see that it looks a bit different from mine. Everything looked to be the same size, however the "vent" area in the middle was round, and from what I can see on whats left of mine, the vent area was more angled.(hard to explain)
Does anyone know if the Formulas had different dash caps? Will it still fit in mine?
Also, does anyone know if I can swap the centre console from a 98+ into mine? I searched, but suck with computers.

The console will bolt right in, no problems or moddifying necessary. Dash caps as far as i know were all the same but even if the vent is a different shape it will still work, but i think theyre all the same. Definitely pick up that console though!!

Haha must have skimmed over that part. But yes, you can definitely swap out center consoles. And you should haha. I HATE ours. Worthless cupholder. You won't need to modify anything. Just a straight swap.

hahaha it happens. I love how the center consoles just swap and the digital clusters do too. (as long as it's a '97). Camaro guys aren't as lucky. They have to modify to make them work. But in our case, just a simple swap. Good luck on your parts!

It doesnt have to be a 97, digital clusters swap into any firebird. I put one in my 94 V6 and it worked, i put one in my 96 WS6 and the fuel didnt work, i think it was broken though. I dont see why it would work in my V6 and not my WS6. But they work.

That's odd. Every thread I've seen it has been said that is had to be a '97 car. If that's the case, makes my search that much easier haha. Damn, now I feel bad, I told someone else on here that it had to be a '97. Still weird to me though. It was a few places that said it had to be from that year.
