check this one out guys...

Camaro Antenna, Hidden, AM/FM, Custom Autosound, 1970-2002

* Multiple Mounting Options
* No Drilling Or Grounding Required
* Must Be Wired To Switched 12 Volt Source
* Includes 104" Power Lead & Antenna Cable

Why break up the clean lines of your custom Camaro with an external antenna? Custom Autosound offers an interior-mounted hidden antenna as a great alternative. This active magnetic type, amplified electronic AM/FM antenna gives optimum radio reception without drilling or grounding. It requires 12VDC power that is switched on with the ignition. For best reception, the adhesive-backed antenna body must be unobstructed by metal. It's typically mounted to the top inside of the windshield or on the rear window/package shelf area. The pre-wired 104" long power lead and antenna cable allows you to find just the right spot for installation and it can be extended if necessary. Eckler's Camaro has all the best audio accessories for your Camaro.

Item# 738145

$37.99 ea.

Another vote for BitViper, 2+ years old, no reception problems and I personally like the look:

I have an adjustible shorty

its a stocker that i added a new antenna mast to because it was broken. the motor still raises/lowers the antenna to the full height but when it's down it appears like a shorty. this is because the old masts gear is down in the motor.

Just make sure you shorten it to a multiple of its orginal length...other wise it will loose allot of its effectivness....

I think the stocker is 32' so cut it 16, 8..any shorte and its not all that good might as well buy one of thoes aluminium shorties..which dont work but look good

What does shortening it by a multiple do? How does length, specifically a certain length, affect it?

I really like that concealed antenna! I registered at the distributor's site, and hope they will send me an email coupon code. I am tired of replacing Trans Am electric antennas, 3 is enough! I am getting my car painted next month, and I am going to just shave the antenna hole!
