didnt know where to post this so ill try here well, i just got a ticket on the 23rd for illegal tint (2%) and "Failure to change address" or something of that nature, its first offense ticket on both of them and it was issued by one of our beloved troopers here in Louisiana
well, what i have a question about is he issued me a piece of paper that says that i have 5 days to take care of the tint or something like that, and it says that i need to go to a location within those 5 days to i guess show them that i took care of it. but yet it was a warning and after he wrote the ticket he stated that if i dont want to take the tint off i dont have to ill just more than likely get pulled over again. 
if someone can shed some light on my situation id be very happy

Do yourself a favor and take it off if you are worried about getting tickets. How did you get pulled over for tints, did you have your side windows rolled up? I have 20% on my sides and only drive my car in the summer with the windows down, so i never have an issue with getting pulled over.. My rear window is limo tint, but the rear is not illegal, just the sides.
Got any firends who are eye doctors? If you have a doctor note that says you need the tint for your eyes then you can keep it with no tickets. At least in Alabama thats how it goes.
