How to take out map light bulbs?

I am changing my interior bulbs over to led. The map bulbs are in there and I don't want to break anything. What is the best way to remove them. Half of the bulb is behind the reflective housing.

I got at mine with a thin flat-head screwdriver - it can be a bit of a bitch to get them out, but I assure you, they come out.

Haha, thanks man. Yea, I messed with them for a little bit and it is def. going to be tricky.

Old thread, but I just completely destroyed the whole "housing," if you will, of where the bulb sets into place. I guess it's time to get on ebay for a new mirror...
