Default The Blackbyrd lives

well the culmination of nearly 3 years has finally ended in something that will drive out of my garage on a regular basis hahaha the car was a factory ground effects 3.8 v6 auto. after i graduated college i parked it im my shop pulled it all out and took the firebird stuff off and turned it into Blackbyrd which has been my screen name since i bought my 2000 firebird which got totalled.

drivetrain is a 414 mated to a t56 with a spec 3+ clutch and a 9 inch with 3.70's and a true trac

all this is worthless without pics so here we go

notice the door badges

my custom front bumper with my new drl's

with them off

and we cant forget the power to back up that front end

i need to take some better pics of the engine bay now that its clean but as far as the wires and all nothing changed that how it currently looks except the air box is plumbed up now

but i am thinking of changeing wheels though really likeing the 18 inch c5 deep dish wheels in polished 10.5" all around if i can do it without spacers

thanks for looking

Alignment on the lights doesn't look quite right. Have you though about doing more than one row of those LEDs? Maybe putting them where the divider used to be...I think that would flow w/ the front end. Regardless, congrats on finishing a huge project up

i kicked around a lot of ideas for the drls and my wife actually suggested what you see know and i taped it up so i could see it for myself and fell in love with the design, so much i stuck with it. big thanks to whirebird00 on makeing them work.

the reflection throws them off and i still dont have the plastic across the bottom of the bumper back in (its at my shop) so i bet i will have to change it around a little, but the audi look is what i was after well high end anyway and i am completely happy with it.

power wise it makes 620 at the fly and puts 511 of that to the ground through the 9 inch and i still need to finish the tune the injectors arent scaled correctly (60lbs ) so i fully expect another 30hp out of the car all motor no power adders

thanks for all the compliments

this idea stemmed from a photochop long ago cant remember the member here that came up with it i want to say it was krazymike something

but thanks again guys now for new wheels and the interior
