Carbon Fiber

Does anyone out there know if there is a carbon fiber ram air hood available for 98-02 trans ams? I ran into some problems with my factory hood and just checking to see if there is carbon fiber of good quality out there for our cars before I buy a new hood and spray it.

Yeah I saw one the other day scrollin thru a import mag at work. I think the company was like "VS" hoods??? something like that...........dunno the quality though. Please tell me you plan on painting it though.

yeah I've seen some from that same company. who cares if you paint it, i'm sure it will look good either way.

**** you guys lol i have a unpainted carbon fiber ws6 hood. cost me about 800 +shipping.
i think it looks good so does everyone else that sees it in person

yea every one who sees my carbon thinks it looks great un-painted. flame me all u want because i had my car plum, grey, flat black, glossy black, now carbon. none of the other colors have people askin me about it @ red lights. my hood is VIS and is great quality. i have had 3 CF VIS hoods for my other rides. it has a abs like under shell its very light and looks great

my hood lifts on its own now, and i did CF hatch and replaced my rear window and it lifts really fast when i press the button. dont know the weights but i know its quite a bit
