Here's how I've done them in the past.

1. Remove the five black push-in pins from the top of the fasica. This will allow you to pull the fascia out while sliding the headlight assembly towards the center of the car. By pulling out the fascia it will give you that needed extra room to pull the headlight out, I remove the headlight at a slight angle.

<img src="http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0MgAAAFURCaVAFRAGjI81mMxx9AM5W7xpUTSvWo2SHBEOXWkFn bxDaCm2E2jWVvk0okgWMZIJnCyUFu6WBsOo7Q/C1.jpg" alt=" - " />

<img src="http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0MgCdFFkRxaXjd8RfLVcO6w!Qee02lhdzGQjyMH2RW6Ihj083l x9EiRyFt33vSyFHA1ZUz7tqV5dxbmFfwXOAdg/C5.jpg" alt=" - " />

2. Remove the 10mm ( I believe) bolt from the back of the headlight, no other bolt should be removed to take the headlight assembly out.

<img src="http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0MgB0cFcRZ6V5fuxtaNMIu04SNU9eLxrN4B2wtdW41uz0kYZOZ 06dq4NObgIRjLx1k2HDLBy1ybjRVl962oa3SQ/C3.jpg" alt=" - " />

3. I like to use masking or duct tape on the fascia around the headlight area, this will help protect the paint on the fasia. Looking at the back of the headlight you'll notice two tabs, when re-installing the headlight make sure you slide the two tabs in the proper area. The blue tape shows the tabs.

<img src="http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0MgAAAFgRlqXKw*BI*WuVNI6CHFLHWhkq0q7joVWifqKrspVZq hUAn7nVu7rnlHOAIi*TTMhjXEdZkJ4OIDCo8Q/C4.jpg" alt=" - " />

4. Now that the headlight is out it's time to remove the amber side marker. There's three 7mm (again I believe) screws that hold it in place, remove all three screws, the blue tape shows the area where the screws are. Remove the side marker and turn signal lights, make sure the foam rubber gasket stays on the lights. When removing the amber marker it can catch on the corner, a bolt that holds the fascia to the fender, sometime by losening the bolt it will clear but just keep lifting on it and it will come out.

<img src="http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0MgAAAFsRI6YWubvEK1tEmfnG2RLHGASyUtSp6l!GQ5MdJ*TcL 2rdwJyWf1wGI*mKG9qfeuMzWCTMLAyV7EOsAA/C7.jpg" alt=" - " />

One thing I forgot to mention is you need to disconnect or remove the headlight bulbs before you pull the headlight assembly out, if you remove the bulbs do not touch the bulb with your fingers.

I hope I made myself clear on how I install clear corners, let me know if I can be of any help.

Good luck,
Al

Has anyone tried doing this bottom. It looks like there are six bolts that hold the splash shields in. It looks like by removing them you can reach up in there and replace them. Don't know for sure, but just a possibility.

I can do both sides in 15 minutes, but if you think the bottoms the way to go then more power to you. Just my 2 cents worth.

QuickSliver, I live in DeWitt which is ten miles north of Lansing, I'd be happy to install them for you if you drive up here. The lenses you have are the correct ones.

Wow, 3 yrs old...
It is not easier if you are lowered and have to jack up the front to go from the bottom. The headlights can be out in less than 5 minutes.
