2000 5 Spoke SS wheels?
Thanks for any and all help>
The chorme versions of the OEM wheel seems to follow the first year the painted versions were offered from GM. I.E. the painted 10 spoke wheel was introduced in 2000 by GM and in 2001 SLP started to offer it in chrome as an option.
Thanks for your replys. We seem to be on the same page.
I bought a new (untitled) 2000 SS from a local dealer. It has chromed 5 spoke wheels that say SS on the center caps. I've seen other 2000 SS cars with the same wheels, but they were NOT chrome. The 2000 Camaro Sales Brochure does not list this as a optional wheel and they are not ZR-1 wheels. I think the 5-spoke is a OEM wheel, but who had it chromed? My guess is SLP but can anyone confirm this?
Thanks for your time and knowledge.

Look in the passenger side door jamb and there should be an SLP sticker listing all the options that your car came with from the factory. For some reason GM wheels came with red bowties and the SLP wheels typically came with SS center caps.

It seems that not many 2000 SS cars have the chrome 5-spokes. Any idea on how many cars may have been built with this wheel? Is it safe to assume that they are unusal or perhaps rare?
I'am curious and will appreciate any info.
