Default Lets see some engine bay pics!!

I see its been a while sinc eone of these posts. Im just looking for ideas to clean up mine and get it show worthy. Yeah im all about speed and performance, but i still wanna kick a@@ at local car shows

so far im planning on getting a few things chrome plated on the front or car, battery cover, fuel rail covers with something custom made to go over the vette letters, and etc etc...

oh well, lets see some show worthy engine bays

Not sure its going to be show worthy, but I'm having essentially everything that I can remove painted factory pewter to match the car. It should look pretty good.

Items on the list:

Intake manifold
Air intake lid
Lower intake box
headlight brackets
fuse panel covers
shock tower brace
tcs cover
headlight molding.

After all that is done, I plan on having all of the caps replace with the chrome billet alluminum peices from MBA. It should look pretty good.

I like the bottom of the engine to show also, supercharger, intercoolers, and powder coated plumbing...

lookin good guys anyone know how much they charge to chrome plate those little brackets up front on the engine bay?? Steve, i want to get bascially the same things as you have chromed. I dont wanna copy anyone elses ideas, but ive seen that on a few cars and it really sets the engine bay off!!

Steve you have been a bad influence for Todd , if you guys don't drive your cars in the rain ( they sure don't look like it )I'd ditch the washer tank. I did that when I had my SS and it really cleaned up the looks in front of the rad.

Al

P.S. You guys are too vain, you should just drive a plain car like me.

NataSS,

The show is lots of fun and last year was the first year I went / had my car. It was neat meeting folks you talk to on forums like this and exchanging ideas.

I am looking forward to meeting you since your going to be there.

I am also thinking about going to Spokane for the CLT the following weekend, not shure though.

--------------------------------------------------

AL,

Your right, steve has been a huge influence to me and you also started the ball rolling with that Mobile One Cap, one of my first mods.

LOL (BTW, I still have it on my car)

I just love looking at everyones cars and getting ideas. I really like it when this post appears...look at those pics above, all awesome.

Al, you should post a pic of your car, I know it is not an f body but it will be the cleanest car here, and it is awesome!

I see you posting and you are always a help to everyone, wish you could of kept your SS and have your Prowler too.

Todd, TAauto wanted to see pics of engine bays on F-bodies so don't blame me if I get booed off the stage, thanks for the compliment about helping out.

Edit I don't if it's my computer or the picture of my car but not everyones picture is showing up now ( web site overloaded? ), I'll delete the picture and hopefully that will work.
