Well, no where's near you're guys SLR's. But works for me for now. It's over 2 years old. Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ7. 12X zoom. Bought it for the zoom at the time. Wanted something to take with me on my snowmobile. I'm not going to haul a SLR, and wanted more than a pocket cam.
These aren't going to do it justice since I can't post full size pics. The tiger game pics were taken from that seat, then full zoom and just pull the trigger. For a $279 camera 3 years ago. I can't complain.

ive got an e520 that i love. i dont have many pics from it and im still learning it. theres enough adjustment in the thing to blow your mind though so you have to be careful.
