Default Detailed - 2006 EVO - Black

I do a good deal of detailing but rarely take pics... however...
A friend of mine who is a fellow detailer about an hour away enlisted my help this weekend - I took the weekend off to take a trip and the trip ended up being canceled so I was free - and he needed help to meet deadlines...

Anyways we did a 1999.5 Jetta and a EVO IX MR... I don't have the pics of the Jetta up yet... but here's the EVO...

I'll warn you now, there are quite a bit of pictures!

Process:
Menzerna PowerGloss - yellow - front end
Menzerna PowerFinish - Orange
Menzerna SuperFinish - Green
Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant - Blue
Collinites Wax - Red

Vehicle as it arrived, did say he was bringing it dirty haha

Wheels Before

Wheels After

After a full wash/degrease and clay bar, once dry, inspected the paint under the spotlights to find similar paint damage as the previous Tarmac Black Evo with 609hp.

As you can see, the paint was in desperate need of correction. The following photos are some progress shots, 50/50s, like night and day.

A quick shot of me in action - looking terrible I'll add

Blackfire Wet Diamond paint sealant applied via LC Blue pads

Some paint shots after the correction, spotlight pics followed by sunlight pics

Thanks man... yeah I'm not an evo guy admittedly, but I respect em and that car ... the wheels MAKE it. Looks great with the Advans on it.

I think it was his DD and he let it get dirty rather than taking it thru a machine wash.

I did all the steps, the help I had was doing one half of the car while I did the other half basically.
