not exactly. just like a replacement for the outer part that is already on the light. but i cant tell if its just one big assembly or not

150* in an oven for 20 minutes and the outer tail light cover comes off. You have to use a scrapper to gradually help open it up all the way around like opening a clam. Then you can repaint the inside half with silver paint so they are brighter when you put it back together. Then you just glue it back together and put them back on.

There's a whole write up somewhere.

I know this is a older post but now I have incured a little damage to my T/A tail light lens(tip broke off).Can anyone provide a link to the lens?

You have to buy either a whole new tail light assembly or get some GTS blackouts to cover it.

Oh-saw a pic of the blackouts-didn't know thats what they were talking about. So I'll keep looking for a good used one then.If I don't find one I'll have to buy new from GM Parts Direct-with shipping it's 280.00 bucks!

Yea I got lucky when I cracked my drivers side. I was just surfin ebay and some guy had just listed a drivers side for $45 Buy it Now. i was like....ILL TAKE IT!
