Does anybody know if there's a specific wire in the headlight switch that goes out to the license plate light?

Oooo! A little late on the gravy train! J/K! I did this mod some time ago because I got tired of cops telling me, "I couldn't see your plate." Whatever! Now, no problems since!

.

Gotta love those LED strips! 3 times as bright at 1/5 the electricity use!

You know whats really funny about this mentality, if cops cant see it they are more apt to pull you over for improper light on your tag.

Quick question...what did you mount it to? I was looking last night and there is nothing right there to stick it to...unless you put it pretty far up in there. Did you make a bracket?

It's a flexible self-adhesive LED strip. I cleaned "FAR UP THERE" and stuck it up there All the way up to the bottom of the bumper. Just make sure it's above the plate and the LED's won't be blocked by the overhang.

Gotcha...I just thought it if was way up in there it might have a shadow on the plate somewhere. I really tend to over complicate things some time! LOL

Looks really good. If you want to tone down the brightness you can give it a quick shot of night shade or a very watered down black paint. I did that to tone down some LEDs in the past and it works great.
