Yup. I literally removed the old connector. But if it gives you peace of mind, you can use quick splices just to tap power from the factory connector. That way you can go back to stock in about two minutes if need-be.

You need to come up with one that throws out tackstrips when cops are behind you from the plate area . I could've used that 2 weeks ago

Get out and look next time it's dark. My factory light lights the ground already, just with shitty yellow light. I plan to do this, gotta show off the new plate, HEYOFCR.

I could look, but my order will show a different one. I had a HUGE one that I used for something else, and then cut it shorter.

Click, "LED Strips, blah blah" Then on that page of flexible LED strips and stuff, it's the first one. It should be 12".

i want to do the same thing only i saw a car that when he hit the brakes the leds turned red...does anyone where you can get led strips that you can hook up so they go from white to red when you hit the brakes???

i finally did this a few months ago,and then got a ticket saying the light is blue,even though its white i was like lol wtf,but its def makes the car more modern in the rear

Actually, from my experience, I've been hassled more for the plate not being lit enough. Ever since putting the LEDs on, no hassles.

why would you want it red? its illegal to have it red.
