Interior odor cleaning... I remembered reading in a non-popular corvette forum from cars.net or whatever that was, about a month ago, and someone posted a question on how to get rid of the interior odor from a used car and a few people replied to use ozone spray or something like that. It has the name ozone on it. I tried a google search and came up with bunch of **** about the ozone layer depleting...
does anyone know?

actually ozone is the best method... let me explain a little. years ago when i had a house fire people came out when the place was cleaned up and they ozoned it. what this is is a gas that is pumped everywhere to rid all smell. i must say that smoke (especially burned plastic and houshold stuff) from a household fire is far stronger than any automobile. i never thought it would come out. but once they sealed up all the outside vents the house was pumped full and all smell was gone!!!! how they hell it worked is beyond me. so i took all of the remaining furniture to the local treatment center and they filled up the warehouse with this stuff and even cleaned that. i see no reason why a car couldnt be done also. maybe they would be able to hook you up with a small ammount for vehicles. look in you yellow pages to find the local business in yur area or even call the local fire department. if they cant point you in the right direction then you insurance agent definately can as all insured item of my house were paid for directly to the cleaning company.
i must say that there is a small odor of the ozone for a time period after but it fades after a week or two. good luck and pm me if you have any further questions.
