I could totally use that layout on my Hawk; reminds me of my 76' Trans Am 455. Amen to the shaker scoop, nothing like hearing those 4-BBL's opening up on a true shaker input.
I have been thinking about doing a '71-'73 Trans Am retro design to a LS-1 Formula as the mule for years; with a shaker hood scope (w/ marine intake), side vents, wheel well flares, etc.; then the "Heritage" T/A was commissioned by GM.

man,u guys are making bank, there is about 35 gauges there right? at 250 a crack thats $8,750! i guess that the old motto, "if you build it, they will come" or in this case, "they will buy" is true,lol

For every 2 overlays you count that only makes up for 1 actual overlay, they are laminated together, double thick. Plus there are always extra ones for testing & experimenting with new ideas, and don't forget that the printer needs to be paid, the vinyl guy needs to be paid, adhesive & die-cutting as well. All cost money, especially for all one off peices. Printers don't cut you a break unless you are doing hundreds or thousands of exactly the same thing...... But like I said, I like your math much better.
