Removing Swirls From Vinyl Stripes?
alright well i tried posting up in the paint and body part, but no help there yet so if figured i'd try here... so here's the post
Well i'm gonna get to detail my buddy's 98 t/a this week and his car is swirled to hell... and i was taking a look at it last weekend and i noticed that the vinyl stripes he has on it are really swirled looking as well... could i just use a blue pad and some plastix or something like that to cut those, or does anyone have any other suggestions of what to do? i want to do a good job because its a really good looking car when its clean, but it rarely is cleaned right... i have a PC 7424xp with quite a few different color pads and have the 6.5'' and 5.5'' pads... so just suggest something for me to do please because that part makes me nervous to do without knowing for sure i'm not gonna mess those up... if i have to i'll just leave them alone and mask them off, but i'd rather make it all look good
thanks!
