hvac delete plate
hvac delete plate looking to move the hvac controls to my center console and want to get a plate to block off the hole. also looking to put a gauge in the hvac delete panel but my question is where can i or what can i use to delete hvac controls? thanks
Where in Chicago are you located?
Go to your nearest welding supply or fabricator and buy a sheet of Aluminum. It has to be a certain thickness to be NHRA legal. I think it's .32".
Cut it out and fit it to your application. I cut pieces to block of my HVAC and every hole in the dash.
I don't have any pictures but it's just as good and a crap load cheaper then buying one already cut.

thanks for the info but i was looking for a plastic or black panel rather than metal colored panel. but that doesnt really matter just want to make a panel that would look good and that i can put a gauge in and switches later on.

I made one for my CETA and mounted my nitrous, fan and fuel pump switches in it. Had a piece of trim from hatch off a 3rd gen in the garage and used it.
