Looks good man, it does shines even with the taillights. Only thing I would've done is place the newer LS1 bird there.

thanks. the good thing about this is that i can just remove the decal, sand down the clear coat a little, and add any other decal i choose and have it all refinished within a couple hours. i've actually already been considering some other decals for it.

wow! you have a good eye. i didnt even notice until you said that. i looked at the pictured and figured it was the angle of the picture. went in the garage and measured it, sure enough, the right side of the bird is 3/16" lower than the right. luckily, its not too bad. i can live with that. for now atleast

ebay. you can pick them up at afterthoughtsauto.com, ws6store.com, autografics.com as well though. but you'll get the best price on ebay, and he gives you 2 sets of decals instead of just 1, for like $12 (only one seller has these on ebay)

I did the same thing to mine. Although, I wet sanded mine. I did the same thing you did with filling the hole too much. Nothing a dremel couldn't take care of. Looks very cool though, one of my favorite random cheap things I've done to my car. Next thing to do is shave the front license plate cover so it flat, and not raised.

get some custom made.

the ones i have now say KRIMSON, and i also got a custom bird as well. made by a member on here, jlincks. check local vinyl decal/sign shops, and there are a lot of people on ebay and also websites (google it) who specifically do custom vinyl decals.
