x2. New question about using it as a shift light though, is it bright enough for the peripherals?

Sarge: from what i gathered single and duel means how many gauges they're sending 1 or 2, if someone can verify me on that.

Another question, lol, they state it inverts screen colors, does that mean there is a selection or just the opposite. Any expounding on the matter would also be welcomed

Yeah thats what it appears. Kind of confusing and poorly worded.. This set up looks awesome. I checked glowshift's a pillar mounts the single mount is only 25 or something. Man i shouldn't have looked at the thread...

Yeah a worthy 3 at that. If you think about it it cuts alot of corners with all the many functions so really its pretty cheap; just all at once..

No you dont not need an extra sensor. PCM monitors trans temp, so it Will display on the Gauge.

yes the Lights are Very bright. I have mine mounting in the left center vent and they are Plenty bright to get your attention. there are 2 led lights in the gauge, you can set Both to same parameter or each one to a seperate parameter.

It does not display a/f by itself. Aeroforce does sale a Wideband kit, that can then be displayed by the interceptor. I believe the Interceptor has 2 analog inputs, which means you can add up to 2 more variables. check out there "Sensors" section on their site to see what all they offer.

And yall are correct on the Dual gauge option. just simply allows you to monitor more parameters at once.

I guess the only real question any of us should have is what color to get!

Found out today that i have $135 worth of parking fines at my school. Life's a game sometimes you win sometimes you loose..

"inverting colors" means that the gauge will display the font as dark and the other PIXELS as bright. Oposite as the setting i have in my pics.

Default aeroforce gauge

On the dual gauge set up, the first gauge is the primary and the second gauge is a slave. The only difference is the slave doesn't record e.t. and have shift lights.

Damn, wasn't expecting this to get bumped.

Dual - Like stated, just means two gauges. Master, and a slave.

Inverted colors - Lets say your screen is white font with a black background. Click invert, now it's black font with a white background.

I have mine usually always showing coolant and trans temp, and they are both very reliable. Like someone said, you can add up to (I think two) extra sensors for something the computer can't read, like A/F.

I finally installed mine last night. So far have just left it on trans temp (main reason I bought it after recent converter install) but when I have time I'll set up a few functions so scan through.

Anybody know how accurate the HP rating is on the gauge? I guess-timate my car to be around 330 RWHP and I was messing around when I had the HP rating parameter up and had it reading 335 or so. Not sure what this parameter estimates, at the flywheel or RWHP, so might have just been a coincidence.

x2 question above. Also i was talking to a friend that used a diablo tuner and it shows the A/F ratios and although its a different set up he brought up a good point that that **** doesnt work because its reading what the cars computer wants the A/F to be so its not very accurrate..? Maybe not but sounds pretty legit. He said while was trying to change his to get a perfect A/F set up it never fluctuated much and when it was supposedly perfect he could tell he was burning rich at some points. So he was going to go with a direct map from the MAF sensors and all that..

So you're asking if the AFR reading on the gauge is correct? The only thing related to AFR this gauge can see from the PCM are the O2 minivolts. Using minivolts is not a good way to try and dial in your car. If you want a real AFR reading get a wideband with an auxillary output like a PLX or LC-1 or the optional Aeroforce wideband upgrade and then you can see your true AFR through the gauge using the gauges auxillary inputs.

This gauge is worth every penny and then some! I bought it from Maryland speed for $220 shipped on special (IIRC). It's the latest version with the changeable rings. I actually polished the aluminum ring.

I also have the fuel pressure unit for the analog 1 position and the oil pressure unit for the analog 2 position (just not hooked up yet)
