Leather and Suede

Some pics of my door panel i have been working on. I am still working on the arm rest. It is going to be Black leather. I am trying to decide what to do for the door handle trim and the speaker grills...Any suggestions welcome. I have thought of covering the trim in black suede...but not sure...

I've been thinking about doing this for a long time, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Looks great though, keep us up with the progress

i like how you covered the bottom piece that holds the speakers in suede too, looks good

its amazing how many crappppppy plastic pieces are REALLY in the car....I mean considering how much a fully loaded SS or WS6 sold for its kind of disgusting. It is going to be a slow process one panel at a time. I am mearly an amature so i cant knock these things out very quick like...

I'd like to see that sometime. The suede really shows your strokes, I wonder if that would end up bugging me all the time. I am thinking about doing my doors, but maybe using a couple of slightly contrasting leather shades rather than suede. I took a look at some suede samples and tested them on my headliner, but they seemed too stiff to follow the contours in the corners of the T-tops.
