opinions on color scheme.... I have a white TA and recently purshased a ram air hood. When i can afford to get it painted i'm going to go with flat black stripes(thought of like a 30th blue, but i'm going with black). I'd like to detail the engine bay but can't think of a good color that goes well with the white/black. I obviously can't detail the bay the same as my stripes as everything is already black. What are your thoughts/opinions. Thanks!!
Re: opinions on color scheme.... I like the idea of the different "shean" stripe, But I would suggest a "semi-gloss" or "satin" stripe, in lieu of flat. Reason being, is when you wax the car. The flat black you couldn't really protect. At least you can wax the semi gloss stripes.
As for you "other color" suggestion, I think cars look good with a main two color theme, with a third thrown, subtly as an accent. I think your accent color could be Red. Some nicely detailed black FRC's with red valve covers would look sweet. Even for the interior, some nice red seat inserts would be awesome (assuming you have black/ebony seats) My three colors are Red, Silver and Black.
