What does everyone think of the Ultra Z hood from SLP? I think its bad ***.

I like the looks and the functionality of the Ultra-Z hood! It has a true ram air approach...straight to the air box.
I've also been looking at Mecham hoods recently. In comparison, which hood do you prefer??? Check out the links below:

That Mecham single extractor Z style is badass!!! I havent' seen it around so it's unique, if I had to do it over again I'd definitely grab one of those!!

I like the Ultra Z replica and the actual Ultra Z but the other one is a little to much for me.

I hope to get the SLP ultra Z hood for Christmas. A lot of guys see nice improvments at the track.
I like it the best but the other two are still nice in their own way.

the single extractor is sweet, but for $950 <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" /> , no way. go for the ultra Z. the 4-port one im not too sure about. that pic really sucks, maybe, but still might be two out there for a camaro. just like to add, how come the 4-port camaro hood dosent look anything like the firebird one. Cause if it did <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> , that would be my choice. anyway id get the <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> ultra Z <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> out of the three.

from what i have been hearing the mecham hoods are nothing but trouble... i dont think i would advise getting one unless you are going to put buku bucks into your hood.... and not really gain that much...
