If you'll prep the tire properly, sling shouldn't be a problem.

You need to completely remove previous dressing, with degreaser or a good tire cleaner... Also, heating up the tire before/during application makes it much easier...

I use Meguiars Tire Gel

Works the best and no slinging residue. And seeing i have a white car the slinging residue gets annoying and is ovious!

Slinging is by far the WORST part....I'm going to give some of these low sling products a try come spring.

Armor All Extreme Tire Shine Gel - I like it for the T/A b/c it never leaves the garage if it's raining, though when it runs out I will be looking at some better tire stuff that is more water proof, any thoughts on that?

This may not be the greatest Pic for a tire but here you go:

I find that the auto stores sell it for $7.50 - $8.50 per can. BUT I have found several walmarts that sell it for $5.50 per can, check there first.

Best ever made

I use Meguiars Hot Shine and apply it with a 1.5" foam paint brush, I'll usually spray some of it into a disposable cup and stick the brush in. Pretty convenient and I dont get tire shine all over my hands or the wheels.

I have used many kinds over the past 6 years and i always go back to it.
It has an adjustable tip too for a narrower spray pattern
I love that stuff, it's all I use now.
